Bottle from Alias: pours murky orange with white head. Aroma is light funk, smoke and loads of stone fruit. Taste is sweetish. Fruity. Lightly sour. Generally pretty nice.

Draught at Alias: pours black with beige head. Aroma is coconut and chocolate. Some dark fruitiness. Robust with light bitterness. Nice aftertaste. Balanced and not overdone.

500 ml bottle from Muckraker’s old Franklin spot, 8/12/24. Clear orange color with a fuzzy head that dissipates quickly down to nothing. Tart, wild yeast forward, strawberry, wood, and a touch of lemon. Definitely on the acidic side, but not overly so. Fun, well-made brew. 9/4/8/4/17

Pours viscously to black beer with a good tan head. Vanilla, marshmallow, very sweet nose, whiff of nutmeg and praliné ganache. Some booze. Sweet, liquorice³ and vanilla. Almost no roast. Alcohol enhancing the sweetness. Sweet grains' bread. Very oily-slick, full bodied, good carbonation, alcoholheat. No, sorry! In Flemish: kalisjensap met een scheut vanillelikeur .

Bottle from Muckraker (old location), 5/21/24. Enjoy by 2032. It pours a reddish -purple color with a fizzy head. Bright and fruity, tons of blackberry. Wood, vanilla, and yeasty flavors come through as well. Nice mix of sweet and tart here, leaving toward the sweet side. Highly drinkable. Really good.

500 ml bottle from the brewery (old location - I haven't made it to the new spot - Alias - that he opened with Two Villains yet, hopefully I'll get out there soon), 5/15/24. Pours a clear, fizzy yellowish color with a head that dissipates quickly down to nothing. Funky and grainy, with some apple notes, a bit of gin, and some wood. Drinks easy and fairly clean for a barrel-aged wild beer. This is a fun one.
