Can from Tavour. Pours dark amber/mahogany with a very large foamy tan head. Can gushed a bit. Aroma is mildly smoky with some darkish toffee. Med body or better. Flavor is mildly smoky with malt that could be medium dark German - Tmavy maybe. Definitely not over smoked. Yet the flavor is nice.

16 oz. Aroma is lightly smoky with notes of caramel, dark bread, wet stone. Pours hazy brown with amber highlights and a one+ finger beige head with excellent retention. Taste is a little sweet and lightly smoky with faint acidity and a herbal lightly bitter edge. Kind of dunkel-like. I could use more smoke, but this ain't bad.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of grain, lemon peel, sweetness, bread. Pours murky burnt orange with a collapsing bone-white head. Taste has a moderate herbal hop bitterness with mild tartness and it's fruity and spicy, almost reminiscent of witbier. Interesting and tasty.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy golden amber pour, foamy head fades away. Malty aroma, faint fruity notes. Taste is sweet, malts sink back behind what must be the baobab fruit, almost a tropical flair to it. Thick and chewy, light bitterness at the end. Refreshing, too!

BiB #60 for me, I think. Similar to their plain Baobab version, this is bitter and absolutely unique. The PB doesn’t add much additional creaminess but it does lend a definite PB finish. Works very well together. ✊🏽 Pic: words from a friend.

First time trying baobab. Very unique, bitter, almost a bit like kola nut. Creamy and smooth bitterness. 1st from this Black-owned brewery.
