Cloudy, thin head, light tan. Has mellow banana on the nose. Sweet, yeasty, kind of underdeveloped.

Amber and cloudy, thin head. Sort of bubblegummy, has a fair bit of bitterness and a lot of crackery malt sweetness, some high melanoidin sweetness. Ok, a bit old school.

Amber, bit of haze, thin head. It's sweet and crackery, a bit heavy...no liquid bread character, which is what I really want in this type.

Dullish gold, has a vaguely honeyish, chewy aroma. Ok honeyish taste. Underhopped, malts a bit heavy. But ok for what it is.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color with medium head. Moderately sweet and with stronger body than the average Saison, this helps to blend with the strong spicy profile, and quite strong bitterness, a bit vegetable. Some smell of gutter water (and light banana).
Not too bad, but rather chaotic.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out spicy saison yeast upfront, followed by earthy fragrance. Flavour is similar, with spicy saison yeast, crisp biscuity malt and some light herbal notes. Pretty nice saison as far as North American standards go. Spicy, dry and low in esters, though not particularly complex. Okay.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a hazy dull golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out artificial vanilla and earthy tea. Flavour is along the same lines - seriously Dogwood, this is horrendous. Nasty tea character with artificial (yes, I'm sure it's real vanilla) tasting vanilla. Jagged, unharmonious and just a bad idea overall. Shit.

Cask - Coffee and cocoa. Dirty brown with no head. Coffee and light chocolate with some bitterness. Thin and not really a pleasant finish.
