Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with excellent retention and some light lacing. Aroma of huge floral undertones notes with lupulin powder clearly showing up. Taste is also dominated by loads of lupulin powder notes with some huge floral undertones with some citrus and light tropical notes also discernible. Faint residual sugar notes is also perceptible. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Another enjoyable NEIPA from this brewery but I think I prefer versions without the lupulin powder.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of intense coffee and cocoa notes with some chocolate notes also clearly identifiable. Taste is also an interesting mix between some floral coffee notes with light bitter trace, some huge chocolate notes and light vanilla notes. Body is pretty full with good level of carbonation with faint alcohol notes. Enjoyable and barrel-aging of this beer would be wonderful and probably remove some minor rough edges.

Crowler: Poured a pitch-black color ale with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry cocoa with light vanilla notes with some bitter roasted malt notes is enjoyable. Taste is a mix of dry cocoa and vanilla notes some bitter roasted malt notes and a dry finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation for style. Enjoyable but maybe tad more bitter and dry then I would have liked.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, cloying sweet chocolate malt with loads of Nestlé quick, light peanut, Nutella, ok. In mouth, sweet sweet chocolate malt, like black forest cake, nuts, a bit cloying. Crowler at Big Deck tasting July 2019.

Oh boy! What a sweet, chocolaty nose reminding me of their Substance beer. Real dark brown colour with little highlights. The mocha-coloured head is frothy-creamy, with decent retention and wet-foamy lace patches. Aromas of cocoa, chocolate, lactose and the vanilla is only here to blend all of these. The taste shows the cocoa giving nice dark chocolate notes and the hops kicking in the finish, blending bitterness. Slick mouthfeel, silky with a little tartiness left on the tongue. This is quite a nice, lighter version of the Substance, and goes down well if you like chocolate. Quite the dessert !

Hazy golden-amber colour with a creamyish slight warm cap, decent stay and wavy lacing. Aromas are quite grassy at first. Then, some fruity sweetness comes out to take over, and with mild pineapples and peaches. The taste blends the fruitiness, sweetness and light grassiness. A touch of alcohol is felt and warms up a bit. Very light yeast tart on the tongue with mild dryness. A little richer tasting IPA for this brewery, so a nice change from their juicy-hoppy ones.

Cloudy golden-beige colour with a nice frothy-creamy white cap and stringy lacing. Citrus peel and grass notes in the nose with hints of coconut. The flavours are on the juicier side and the grassiness is milder. A bitter-dry finish does build. Sweet light yeast blends it all together. Again, a tad of coconut. A nice collaboration that shows the great HYPA beers. Just a little lighter, more blended.

Almost clean with a golden colour, a slight creamy thin white head, decent stray and spotted lacing. Nice mild citrus aromas with all of the hops. The taste has all of these hops showing a little more in the middle. Lingering is minimal, so very nice for a lager. Dry enough mouthfeel, and lightly-bodied. This is a wonderful hoppy lager with a bunch of great hops that are well-balanced.

This IPA pours a cloudy golden colour that looks like orange and grapefruit juices blended together. Off-white, warm cap, frothy-creamy, average retention and some dirty-spotted lacing. Citrus nose with light grass and hints of yeast. The taste shows the same, with a mix of grassiness and citrus notes. Nicely dry mouthfeel. If you like slight grassy tones over the citrus ones, this is for you.
