Hazy and pale. Dryish, tannins, lots of apple and the pear lends nuance, dryness, and then the barrel dries it out a bit more. A pear cider rather than a perry, but it's not bad.

Draught @ Brickers. Hazy pale purple. No head. Brown sugar, a touch of berry, tart, somewhat tannic. Oats lend smoothness and flavour... they get the crisp aspect and I appreciate that.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy dull blonde with small white head. Crisp green apple, simplistic and boring.

On tap at The Cider House, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of crisp apples, plenty of earl grey, and medium sweetness. Flavour is fairly earthy, with light apple skins and gentle acidity. Not much complexity but it's clean and unobjectionable. Okay.

Poured from the tap. Clear pale blonde with no head. Apple skin, touch of ginger, hint of apricot. Wish the flavours came through a little more, a bit of subdued.

Poured from the tap. Dark purple with pink head. Elderberry and lavender. It is slightly “soapy”.

Nice big foam on a medium gold body, modest carbonation. Floral hops on the nose are indeed pilsner-y and I can't really detect any apple. Taste is appley with soft pilsner hops. Easy and smooth, crisp, doing the hybrid apple beer thing extremely well.

Cloudy copper with a rich white head. Cooked apple and cooked red fruit. Tart cooked apple and cooked berries.

Tepid gold body and okay carbonation, no foam. Strong sweet earl grey tea on the nose, soft apple, tea is a little less authentic than I'd hoped. Flavour is heavy tea with soft vanilla notes, vague apple. Carbonation helps to pull it together. Simply adequate.

Pours a soft rosé with good foam, sweet orangey hops on the nose melding very well with cranberry. Flavour is tart cranberry, soft apple, the orangey hops get lost in the mix. Mouthfeel is way too thin. some potential but a mixed bag.
