7.5/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 8
On tap at Bottleworks, pours a minimally hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is complex, with lots of red grape skins that combine with the brandy barrels to create an unusual character. Flavour is very buggy, with lots of musty wine grape skins, light-to-medium acidity, and a touch of the barrels that seem more laid-back than on the nose. Good as usual from Dwinell.

Hazy and pale. Just a thin head, poured into a FHF glass. The aroma has a lot of funk - pedio city, brett C, lots of melon, too, and some pale malt. On the palate, melon, salt, some coriander, pale malt, and buggy complexity. There's a lot going on, a lot to process. The cantaloupe is really refined, and mellow. Everything is well-balanced, and that little saline hit in the finish works well with the tartness.

On tap at Garden Path - Bellingham, pours a hazy bright red with a large off-white head. Aroma has a deep cherry pie characters, light baking spice, and gentle wild yeast that's mostly buried by the cherry. Flavour is aggressive on the buttery cherry pie and baking spice β€” that's quite a unique expression, almost like I'm eating a slice of buttery (non-diacetyl) cherry pie. The wild yeast is there but subtle. Finishes quite bitter. Not particularly complex but I'm mildly digging this for what it is.

On tap at Garden Path - Bellingham, pours a mostly clear bright golden with a large white foamy head. Aroma has plenty of piney, spicy hops, some earthy fungal notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and assertive, with lots of bitter spicy and piney hops, with a thin biscuity malt underside. Piney, spicy, crisp finish. Bitter and thin malt. Really well-made, just how I like β€˜em.

5oz shared with Farees and Phill. Appearance: cherry copper with a huge a bit tan head. Aroma: perfume like cherries, baked cherries and stones. Taste: along the same lines, tons of cherries, some sweetness. Overall: I am a fun of cherries in general, but this one doesn't really have a nice balance IMHO. Ok.
