Can, found in a Jumbo supermarket in Haaksbergen. Blonde with an orange haze, cloudy. Vague wheaty aroma and flavor with a touch of orange. Short yeasty aftertaste, cellar notes. Cheap, drinkable but very mediocre and low on aroma and flavor.

High hopes on this one. It is after all a "Premium Belgian Beer". How could it not be. Plastic screw-top bottle and all. Very pale straw yellow and a decent white persistant head that leaves nice stringy lacing. Light sweet light malts slightly papery aroma. Honey. Low on the bitering hops for ballance. Tart slightly dry aftertaste. A sweet pale lager. And by "sweet", I dont mean....SWEET !

50cl can bought on Mill Road, Cambridge. Amber with a dense, loose, off-white head; unimpressive aroma of corn and stewed vegetables; very watery with a grainy flavour and a little sugar; before a blotting paper dry finish. This is enough to give Eurolagers a bad name. The ingredients list says it all :- Water, Barley Malt, UNMALTED CEREALS; Hops; HOP EXTRACT.

Golden and flat. Relatively limited aroma. Some alcohol taste, with light phenols and acidity. A bit more drinkable than the other malt liquors we found in KL.

Golden with no head. Hardly any bubbles. Big alcohol and nail polish aroma. These tastes carry through with some sort of autolysis/toasty burnt wire and all kinds of alcohol.

Doesn’t seem to fit the description of either other Luxus on record, this was found in Paris (France) with an 8.3% ABV in a 500ml can. Pours very nicely with a big styrofoam head and slightly dark-yellow colour. Nose is all malts, kind of a burnt dark malt thing going on, a little bit of dirty horse saddle stench in there too. Taste is all syrup, disgusting syrup. No alcohol taste though, which is almost a saving grace, but given how syrupy it was I’d expect the ABV to be higher.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel, fruit and mild grassy hops. Flavour went the same way.

Bottle, 5%. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The aroma is a little fruity, otherwise it is like many other pale lager. A bit vinous flavour, not so clean.

50cl can, pours golden color with a white head. Kind of sweet aroma, but flavor is metallic, not much taste, watery.
