50cl plastic bottle. Pours clear and pale piss yellow with a small white foam. Nose and taste is mild of pale malts and hay. Quite anonymous. Watery and hayish.

why? i ask why? there so many fantastic belgian beer, why should this beer? and the others martins, prince gold? i dont understand it inflates me. shame and disgrace.

300ml bottle. Golden body with a big, foamy white head. Very weak, malty aroma. Flavor is light, clean malty with a weak but sharp bitterness. A bit thin body but otherwise quite refreshing and drinkable.

Can. A golden-amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and honey, as well as a light note of metal. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of metal and light notes of straw.

Smallish white head. Coppery body with vigourous fermentation. Fruity caramelly aroma with watery papery notes; some syrupy honey as well. Dry watery grainy honey taste with papery caramel notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. Mid-to-thin body. Dryish grassy watery papery caramel aftertaste with metal notes. Not bad, and sort of interesting in a way, but too watery and lacking in character. (0.33l PET bottle, Duke’s, Victoria, Gozo.)

Big shiny coarseish white head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Watery corn and metal aroma. Dry-sweetish mealy straw and malts taste with corn notes. Kind of grainsoup impression. Soft mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish grassy mealy aftertaste with lemony notes. Decent, but very bland. Very little bitterness. (0.5l can, Duke’s, Victoria, Gozo.)

Medium coarseish offwhite head. Yellow body. Light sulphuric apple aroma. Dryish-sweetish apple and straw taste with malty notes. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry alcoholic straw aftertaste with chalky notes. Faint hops, too. Clean, decent, drinkable. Best beer in Malta so far. (0.33l can, Duke’s, Victoria, Gozo.)

Clear golden coloured body with a soapy white head - nothing nice. Aroma of metal, strong malt and pungent alcohol. Light-bodied; Strong malty, metallic and alcohol laced flavours throughout. Aftertaste mild and somewhat refreshing - not too much so though. Overall, definitely worth trying, but I picked this up in quick fashion just to drink on the streets in the best city in the world, Hong Kong. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased in Hong Kong, SAR China on 18-August-2007.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, no head to speak of; sweet caramel with a tinge of roasted barley in the aroma; sweet flavour, light bodied; short empty sweet finish with a well hidden fruitiness. MOre a german Malzbier than a Belgian Ale.......
