On tap at Mariner, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of limes uofront, with not much else detectable. Flavour is along the same lines, with citric lines upfront, but not all that prominent, with little else to speak. Uninteresting.

On tap at Mariner, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate spiciness, toasted bready notes and a hint of caramel. Flavour is quite spicy and bitter, with toasted biscuity malt, spices and astringent bitterness. This isn't very pleasant. Harsh and astringent, without any discernible character.

On tap at the brewery. Has an okay black body with just a hint of foam. Aroma smells strongly like your grandmother's breathmint from her purse that has marinated all summer and she finally offers it to you when she sees you on Labour Day. Flavour is big peppermint with soft mocha in the background, crisp and sweet, rather cloying, so it is. Has an okay mouthfeel, nothing hangs, it comes and goes quite nicely. It's decent enough though the peppermint dominates unneccessarily.

Has a good nitro off-white head and a dark brown body. Aroma is an odd detergent smell of egg and coffee, no it's not enough to just throw something into a beer. This smells very awkward, like an office building hallway from 1969, recently fumigated. Flavour is very much eggnog with creamy barley, a good balance here. Mouthfeel is wet and sugary though maybe that's all right for a brew like this. It's a nice overall attempt, an okay eggnog infusion stout.

On tap at the brewery. Has a bright gold body and nearly no head. The aroma is something like a wet dog rolling around in the mud but with a rotting vegetable slant. Some feces in there too, sort of like spring in Nevada, under the hot sun for at least eight hours. Flavour is a bit of lager cabbage with some rotten garbage behind it. Mouthfeel is wet and more than a little cloying. There is something very wrong with this cream ale.

Has a semi-cloudy darker brown body and minimal head. Aroma is a mix of holiday spiced cheer that honestly comes across as floor cleaner mixed with cinnamon. Flavour is cloying and sugary holiday spices, with a mouthfeel to match. It's not a good effort, definitely holiday-ey but not enough is done with that New Year's cheer.

Has a modest brown body with just a bit of foam. Aroma is somewhere between beef jerky and smoked leather. Flavour is soft coffee and barley hints with hints of sour dark grain. Mouthfeel is a little too watery. It's an okay stout but needs more effort, a common theme in this city.
