Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Bottle at the Funky 6. Pours hazy yellow with a modest, white head. Citrusy aroma with cereal malts, coriander and other spices. Fairly sweet in the flavor, some bready yeast and unripe fruits that lend hints of tartness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Semi-dry finish with more citrus notes, various spices and moderate, sweet malts. Very decent beer.

22oz Bottle Thanks to inflatablehair. Batch number 2. I am pleased to see how fast Epic has made such a variety of tasty beer. Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a small foam head. Aroma of light apple and spice. Taste more of the light apple, spices, bready yeast, not too bad.

Bomber at the 5th Annual Epic Beer Tasting in Richmond, VA, November 28, 2010. Pours a clear amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, spicy notes, apple and smoke. The taste is apple, spice, caramel, leafy hops, spicy finish. Medium bodied. It’s a good thing I began to sober up at this point... my handwriting is horrific and my sentence structure was starting to become.... unique.
