Cloudy orange body and little foam, sour funk on the nose with ethyl alcohol notes lingering, some sweet fruit skin. Flavour is sour muddled fruit skin, no sweetness. Cloying, kind of ugly, nothing to make it bright.

Cloudy yellow body and little foam, sweet pineapple juice with fermented fruit on the nose. Flavour is bright juiciness, tartness in the right places. Crisp finish. Good balance, easily drinkable.

On tap at Darby's, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bretty funk, with farmhouse yeast, and dry hops. Flavour is bright, with a nice farmhouse yeast character, followed by wild yeast funk, and some citrus. Funky, dry and balanced overall. Pleasant beer -- certainly one of the better ones from Brewhall.

On tap at Darby's, pours an opaue dirty peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite earthy and pithy, with lots of yeast, earthy notes, and bready malt. Flavour is very messy and obscured, with lot of yeast, pithy notes, and bready notes. Pithy and messy. Uncoordinated and pretty lame overall.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Murky dark blond colour, a bit orange. Nice citrus, orange character, both aroma and flavour, sweetish, with low bitterness. And it's not chalky. Hence it's enjoyable, even if not very complex.

Cloudy to murky blond colour. Crisp base, dry but not weak, with delicate crackery malts, moderate farmhouse yeast character, which has a bit of spice, of zest and of funk.
Balanced, clean, pleasant.

Smells of big juniper and pine, has good white foam on a cloudy yellow body. Flavour is chewy grapefruit, skin and fibre all in, great stuff. Mouthfeel is full and crisp. There's a nice conglomeration going on here.

Hazy, yellow, thin head. Light body, touch of peppery/corianderish spice. Light, imperfect but doable.

Cloudy and light amber in colour. No much head. Clove, cinnamon, vanilla on the nose. So is this some sort of horchata IPA? The menu says “mimosa IPA” but I’m definitely thinking horchata, which to be honest is a long way from a mimosa. On the palate, kind of a clusterfuck. Not necessarily a bad one – individually the vanilla, deep clove and pink peppercorns are all pretty nice and the base DIPA provides a reasonable framework. But the combined beer doesn’t seem all that cohesive, and the clove and orange are both kind of heavy. It’s weird – if I focus on a particular flavor element, I’m basically happy. If I focus on the overall liquid, like if I wasn’t rating, it’s just not that good.
