Draught at House of Funk, North Vancouver; 5% ABV
Hazy blond colour, greenish, no head. Light hop in the aroma, but the malt is very bland, and the hop flavour is almost lost, with low bitterness, and overall a watery feeling. Not entirely sure if there is some tartness.
Drinkable, undaring.

The aroma is bright sweet orange, has muddy yellow body with little foam. Flavour is good orange juice and pine. Mouthfeel is crisp, oily in the right places. As Bubbles would say, this is Decent.

The aroma is very soft wood and vague lager grains. Has a weak clear gold body and little foam. Flavour is weak lager hops with some floral notes. Mouthfeel is smooth but also a little watery. This is boring, clean but not crisp.

The aroma is bright fresh raspberry, sweet but not overly so. Has a muddy dark pink body and minimal foam. Flavour is bright floral raspberry with soft tannins lingering. Mouthfeel is dry and crisp in just the right amounts. This is a crowd pleasing fruity drink, not excessively complex but hits all the notes necessary. --- Beer merged from original tick of Raspberry Earl Grey Sour on 13 Jun 2020 at 01:18 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Nice pink foam and deep dark pink foggy body. Strong smell of sweet raspberry with some earl grey tea notes, Lipton sweetened style. Flavour is heavy raspberry, vague tea. Nice crisp carbonation. Rather sweet but not excessively so, tea could be more forward, otherwise decent for what it is.

Tap. Pours very hazy dirty yellow, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is light, pineapple, orange. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter. Light body. Not exciting.

Foggy yellow body with modest foam, skunk cabbage on the nose. Flavour is chewy wit notes with banana and plenty of hops. Full on the mouth. Fun anyway, highly drinkable.

Medium clear gold body and little foam, sweet perfumy hops on the nose. Flavour is chunky hops, oily in the right place. Okay but somehow missing the mark, layering is wrong and there's no malt character to cut the excessive sweetness.

Muddy gold body and modest foam, chunky sweet hops on the nose. Flavour is chewy chunky hops. Full enough on the mouth, good oiliness but lacking crispness. Okay, not bad.

On tap at R & B, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, a little coriander and floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with coriander, earthy notes, and Belgian yeast. A little muffled and rather estery. This isn't doing it for me.
