On tap at Callister. Pours a clear pale golden with a white head. Malty, floral hops. Easy drinkable. Not bad.

On tap at Callister, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry rustic saison yeast and a touch of cereal malt sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast and cereal malt. Just a touch of sweetness that works well. Not exactly authentic but it doesn't suffer from the same flaws that many North American saisons suffer from. Solid stuff.

Golden-brown. Thin head. Toasty character leans towards the earthy, English pale ale interpretation. A bit thin but easy drinking. Would never call this an IPA, though.

Ugly light brown and hazy. No attempt to make this look presentable. Aroma is chocolatey, with biscuity malts. Thin, has a touch of orange and a chocolate syrup character. Base beer has nothing, and the flavours are artificial. Weak effort.

On tap at Callister, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a fair amount of berry-like fruitiness and earthy hops. Flavour is very harsh, with a massively astringent wood varnish quality dominating here. Dry, bitter and perfumey. This is definitely off. Can't drink this.

Draught at Callister, Vancouver
Red-amber color, between hazy and cloudy. The aroma is mildly spicy (rye?) and fruity (hops; like bitter orange peel); light perfume, and dust. The mouthfeel is bold, not sweet, but the flavor is based on caramel, a bit chewy, and covering the hops; as such the dusty and spicy character of the malts overwhelms the resiny hops.
Not a bad beer, but not the IPA you expect in 2016.

Draft - Earthy Woody notes and some herbal leaf. Cloudy Amber with a small white head. Herbal and earthy, more like a bitter.

Draft - Light cocoa and orange. Dirty light brown with a small white head. Light cocoa and just a touch of orange of any. Not nearly robust of flavourful enough.

Draft - Fruity, little skunk and light pith. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Light fruity hops, pith and nice light skunk. Well done.

On tap at Callister, pours an opaque dark orangey brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of bitter cocoa upfront, with orange rinds further back. Flavour is about the same, with bitter cocoa upfront, and mild orange rinds in back. Nice blend of the two elements here, though there's not much depth or complexity. It's alright.
