440ml can. Pours pitch black with a dark brown head that doesn’t last. Aroma is boozy oak, rum and chocolate. Taste is similar but much more refined. Oak, vanilla, port, chocolate, plum brandy. Thick and luxurious. This is an imperial stout just how I like them, though with a lower ABV than the complexity might imply. Truly a fantastic beer.

Keg at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is toasted malts, bitter orange, caramel, straw. Taste is malt forward, orange peel, grains, bread dough, light melon, lemon rind, hint of pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough regulation APA, again an old skool US brew pub lilt to this as per their IPA (Yank Tank).

Keg at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel malt, light pine, orange pith, old skool IPA vibes. Taste comprises more caramel malt, bread, tangerine, grapefruit, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with earthy hop bitterness. Adequate IPA with an old skool lean.

Growler, 11C. Dark brown with a pale beige head that laces well and never disappears. Aroma of dark fruit, roasted malt, bread, peppery oak. 7+ Silky. Sweet with chocolate, bread, stewed fruit, grass, oak. The wood is not excessive but is not terribly well integrated into the palate - it rather jumps out at the end. Perhaps that would mellow in the bottle after a while. Drinks its weight but there is no integrated alcohol.
