Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 8% ABV
Beautiful dark mahogany colour with compact, light brown head. Mild aroma of malt, caramel, vanilla, with very light fruity esters. Full bodied, moderately sweet; the malt and caramel flavour is quite good, satisfying, even if not too deep or complex; it adds a dimension with the gentle fruity notes.
Solid and pleasant.

Clearish gold with a decent white head. Lots of Mango on the nose. Tons of mango and stone fruit, touch of bitterness and a decent finish.

473mL can, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has a herbaceous, somewhat vegetal hop character, with a crisp biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is crisp and somewhat vegetal, with herbaceous hops, floral notes, seltzer, and celery-like vegetal notes. It's crisp and biting, but too much herbal, vegetal, seltzery character. It's alright.

Poured from 473mL can. Near black with a light beige head. Roast malt, oaty, surprisingly nice. My favourite beer from Twin City brewing thus far.

Poured from the tap. Medium dark brown with small beige head. Tasted malt, light bread and toffee. Fine, but uninteresting.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear, dull amber gold with small white head. Bit of a diacetyl bomb, chewy malt, hint of pine. The butter comes across more on the nose than the taste. Drank half and drained poured the rest.

Golden, bright. Medium head. Aroma is light vanilla. On the palate, marshmallow, vanilla, no stout character at all. Ok maybe a touch of coffee roast. A sweet golden ale with dessert stuff on top. Not as rich as you’d get from big name US breweries on this concept but heading in that direction, however you feel about that.

Okay caramel body and okay foam. Smells of soft strawberry, great fruitiness on this. Taste is great tart fruit and soft tanginess leading the aftertaste. Really nice.

Gold, thin head. There’s a fairly heavy lactic note, mellow hop fruitiness. More of a sour beer with a dash of hop and a decently fruity body.
