On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy dark amber reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma has plenty of English bready malt, low hop content, and soft floral notes. Flavour is nicely malt-forward, yet dry and well-attenuated, with butterscotch, toffee, bready notes, and just enough hoppy bitterness to back. Reasonably constructed but just not particularly interesting.

473 ml can. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of bready malts, candied pineapple, spice and pine. Flavors of pine, resin, bitter pineapple and toasty malts. Old style. Ok.

Purplish colour and hazy. Tart palate. Soft, but odd fruit character. I guess that's the black currant? The barrel doesn't do much for me - the base and the treatment are both less than amazing here.

On my second flight at the Drake Eatery on 14th August 2025. Light haze to the golden body, white crust on top. Citrus lead in the nose and taste, wheat esters and flavours too. Mild piney traces towards the finish.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2025, pours a muddy, opaque, muddled mahogany with a small white head. Aroma has lots of acetic notes, currant, and bugs — pretty jumbled. Flavour is odd, with faded currants, moderate acidity, and some earthiness. Muddled and incoherent. No good.

473 ml can. Pours a very dull amber with light head. Aromas of pithy citrus, a bit of resin and doughy malts. Flavours of same with a bit of spice. Not very inspiring. Seems to be more of a Hazy…

Bright amber, thin head. Nice spicy centennial aroma with a touch of crystal malt that balances it out well. On the palate, balanced with that light crystal malt, earthy slightly piney centennial and moderate bitterness.

473 ml can. Gusher. Pours a dark brown with short head. Aromas of metallic roasted malts and a bit of cream. Flavors of roasted malts and a bit of oas if I think about it. Acrid finish. Not much there. And minus points for the gusher.

440 ml can. Pours a pinkish copper color with light fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of earthy dry wheat and some obscure fruit. Flavors have a more fruity expression though still hard to tell if it’s cherry; maybe something like dry cherry pie. OK but nothing to go out of the way for.
