On tap at the brewery. Pours a golden/hay color with light head. Light aromas of lemon wax and toasted malts. Flavors of soft grainy malts, more lemon wax, and a bit of dry cardboard.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, a touch of pine, and light herbal character. Flavour is pretty similar, with earthy hops, some pine, a touch of oiliness, and bit of dank weediness. Oily palate, with a nice dank weedy finish despite a lack of bitterness. Soft and easy-drinking for a west coast IPA. Solid.

On tap. Pours a copper color with moderate head. Aromas of grain and herbal hops. Flavors of grain, biscuity malts and noble hops. Ok for what it is.

Darker glistening brown body and decent foam, good smoked malt on the nose, not too harsh and just a bit of sweetness from the malt to keep it balanced. Flavour is really nice smoked malt, great balance, full chewy dark grain finish. A really good smoked beer, just the right amounts of everything.
