Since we were children, we’ve yearned for our own special place.

A cardboard box fort; a cubby under the stairs; a flashlight under the covers. As we grew up, we slept in tents under trees. We bought campers and took road trips. We rented cabins in faraway places and gathered with friends. We made memories.

The humble cabin represents the ultimate escape. A home away from home. A respite from the stresses of work and the regularity of everyday life. A place to be yourself.

Cabin Brewing Company embodies that feeling. It is a place to make new memories. It is your new special place.

473ml can. Pours a hazy blonde with a medium, fluffy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Mild fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange zest, apricot and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, lemon, honeydew melon, peach, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Juicy and refreshing.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a medium, foamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, coffee and nuts. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate and oats in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Could use more body, but still pretty tasty.

Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach, pineapple and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit, pineapple, oats, faint coconut and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Juicy and as the kids would say “she bangs!”

Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, lime, grass and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not one of their best, but still ok.

Medium brown. Toasty nose with light nuttiness. Good barrel, brings whiskey warmth and a slight headsy bit of phenol. Assertive strength on the palate, the base beer is toffeeish, with light chocolate and just enough bitterness.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours black, no head. Aroma is dominated by the cognac, with moderate roast and plenty of booze. Flavour is intense, with intense cognac, super spicy chili, and a touch of cinnamon. Big cognac booziness that pokes through the spiciness. I’m liking this.

Bottle pour at Barrel Fest 2025, pours a clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of bourbon barrels, maple syrup, and a touch of toasted malt. Flavour has notes of vanilla beans, maple syrup, and a touch of bourbon. A bit thin-bodied but nice malt structure and nice barrel character. Solid.
