Can did not seem hard, but man - did that come out gushing !! Lost a lot of it. A very slight haze, from what seems to be the agave, syrupy at the bottom of the can. A fizzy white head, that only last, covering the brew - from that last pour with the syrup. Big malty aromas with some spices from the Belgian yeast, some light fruitiness (banana-wheat, apples), caramel and booze. A wet mouthfeel, that feels a tad thicker at first, but not syrupy, finishing with decent dryness. All of the nose comes out in the taste, without being too sweet as expected. It does go down nicely. Almost like a mix of Belgian Strong Blonde ale and some better malt liquor.

This cream ale poured a lightly hazy, lighter yellow colour with a bright white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include very light coffee, pepper, corn, must and cardboard. First swig was a little watery with flavours of malt, a little vanilla, a little coffee and a bit of spice. Finish is mildly bitter with minimal coffee, cream and vanilla flavours lingering.

O:6.49 V:5.0 G:8.23 C:3.5 G:16.6 T:39.82 English Can brought back from CWG Barnside Brewery Citrus notes reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit combined with cereal accents to give us a fairly simple but effective olfactory. A thick, rocky foam covers a golden, perfectly clear liquid. Lots of citrus on the palate. Notes of lime, lemon, grapefruit. A very light malty profile adds subtle notes of sugar and honey. A coniferous bitterness with a touch of herbaceous makes up the finish, also exposing lime to give a greenish impression. The taste palette is impressive for a session. The bitterness is deep and tenacious, with a slight harshness. Very tasty for a session. Much appreciated!

Assez ordinaire ! O:6.63 V:5.0 G:7.15 C:3.0 G:12.25 T:34.03 English: Can from CWG Barnside Brewery A very tropical olfactory with notes of cantaloupe, melon, orange, pineapple as well as a malty base reminiscent of sweet bread. The thick, creamy foam covers the yellow, opaque liquid. A thin texture supports notes of grapefruit and pineapple on the palate. Accents of cantaloupe and melon are added. The alcohol reveals a slight impression of solvent on the finish. The bitterness is low, almost non-existent and with slight accents of zest. The body is definitely too thin and deplores a malty character that is too weak. Pretty ordinary!

O:5.46 V:2.5 G:8.05 C:5.0 G:15.43 T:36.44 English: Can purchased from CWG Barnside Brewery. Generous notes of fresh crusty bread accompanied by herbaceous rumours are proof of a mainly malty olfactory. Light golden in colour, the liquid is partially veiled. The rocky moss is moderately maintained. The palate is spicy and well carbonated, highlighting the malts well. Subtly honeyed bread notes with peppery accents, bringing a slightly earthy and very delicate herbaceous finish. Nice balance with pepper notes that add complexity. The herbaceous side of the hops does not stand out enough, however. A very suitable pilsner, according to the standards of the style and with a certain originality by its peppery notes. Much appreciated!

Part of their 2022-23 Winter Edition 4Ganic pack with the Earl of Adelaide. A very slight haze (gets hazier as it pours), light-bright golden colour with nice carbonation and a white soapy head, leaving a little lace. Straw malt base with some Pils spiciness and citrus notes. This continues into the taste with a nice dryness. Quite a nice crisp, refreshing and dry, spicy-hazy APA.
