Poured from the tap. Clear pale blonde with no head. Medium sweet, apple skin. Seems it’s become sweeter over the years.

On tap. Pours a clear pale straw colour with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Faint aroma of apple juice and pear. Sweet flavour of apple juice, pear and faint peach in a crisp, dry finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Disappointed. The peach is almost non-existent. If I didn't know, I'd say this was apple juice.

Made all from real fruit syrup! she said at the counter, as if that's supposed to be... appealing? Anyways I bought some cans since their tasting appointment thing didn't jive with my impatience. This one pours a clear yellow, foam's gone fast, carbonation bubbles appear medium, not quite soda pop but not appearing natural neither. Sharp hops on the nose, soft sweet apple, but the hops dominate and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Flavour is softer hops tempered by apple, some cider sweetness pushing the hops into the background. Mouthfeel has okay carbonation but no real lingering oiliness from the hops. This is simply okay, both simple and okay, not the best of times and nor the worst of times.

Okay foam, bright yellow body, heavy soda pop carbonation. Funky peach on the nose, hairy fruit skin, vague apple. Flavour is rancid peach juice, cheese, wonky peach notes. Odd aftertaste that doesn't jive well. This thing seems to be missing all its targets.

Okay light yellow body, foam gone fast, strong carbonation but it doesn't look too fake. Sweet apple on the nose with some modest bitterness, sugary to be sure but a few dry notes to temper that. Flavour is musty apple, a bit of pepperoni stick (for real), lots of sugar. Lingers on the tongue, aftertaste is lots of sweetness. I'm finding this fake and middling, not the worst BC cider out there but definitely a bottom shelf kind of thing.

On tap at Brewhall, pours a clear golden blonde, tiny head. Aroma brings out gentle floral hops and light apple acidity. Flavour is medium sweet, with plenty of green apple acidity and a floral dry hop character on top. Simple, but fairly well-executed. Decent.

Draught at Foamers Folly, Pitt Meadows
Very pale color, hazy.
Positive: it's sweet.
Negative: it smells and tastes of cheese, a bit.

On tap. Pours a watery hay colour with very light head. Very light aromas of apples and pears minimal flavours of same leaning toward pears. Flat. Blah.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
The color is very pale; the pear aroma and flavor is delicate, luckily it’s not too dry, nor it tastes like sweet artificial candies; but there’s no depth, it’s an easy drink. Pleasant.
