Cask at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 29th June 2010. Gold with a white diminishing head. Exquisite strong very real raspberry aroma then intricate bouquet of floral hop in main kick. The two flavours work in harmony, not discord, and a very pleasant endtaste ensues on a smooth to light mouthfeel.

Gravity cask at the Pembury Tavern on 21st July 2010 during their summer festival. Gold with thin scantly lacing white head. Beautiful floral aroma; very fruity floral hop kick with exquisite elderflower notes. A lasting hoppy back-taste and dry finish. Remarkably textured mouthfeel for a stillage-poured beer.

Half-pint, cask conditioned at The Fox and Newt, Leeds. Lasting, white layer with great lacing to the glass. A slight haze to a golden body. Discreet fruit-floral aroma. Smooth taste profile with fresh fruity hops and a lightly bitter finish (Sunday pub crawl in Leeds, 11.07.2010).

Cask handpull at the Ledger Building (JDW), Canary Wharf. Looking forward to this from the reviews. Deep brown, lasting cream head. Its a malty brown bitter like what used to be made. Bit more to it than that though the finish has nuts and dates and is rather wonderful. Finish is so long and deep and malty and fruity and lovely. Awesome.

30th June 2010. On taop at the Kings Head freehouse Tollesbury, Essex. Clear brown beer. Not much head. Soft smooth palate. Sweet hazlenuts, red fruit in the undertone. Mellow chocolatey coffee. Some coconut as well. Finishes soft with some sweeter red fruit coming to the fore. An outstanding English draft beer - best I have had in a very very long time.

Golden coloured body with a light orange glow and a very thin white head. Aroma of citrus, light malt, a touch of hops and some fruits. Light-bodied; Strong malty flavours with fake sugar sweetness, some light citrus and a very mild taste afterward - almost water. Aftertaste shows bland malt and not much else, perhaps alcohol. Overall, not such a great beer, but definitely nice to try, regardless! I sampled this pint on draught at Wenlock Arms in London, England on 13-December-2008.

14th April 2010. Clear dark amber beer. Small white head. Light dry palate. Full on darkish malt - this feels like a porter! Rich dark malt and a trace of coffee and smoke. Some non bitter orangey hop coming through towards the end. A porter in brown ale clothing!

(Cask at The Rake, Southwark, London, 22 May 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with lots of raspberries and notes of citrus and biscuity malt. Fruity taste with raspberries, biscuity malt, grass and a touch of citrus. Light body and fairly dry. It’s a bit weird but it works quite fine.
