Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, London on 18th December 2009. Pale with whitish thin head. Nutmeg spice, flavour of mince pies and generally Belgian-leaning spice notes along with fruit aroma (I got berry fruit) and a smooth but engaging texture. Enjoyable pint.

[Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading] Deep amber, off-white head. No fizz. Mouthfeel rather weak and watery. Sweet fruity malt comes through a little, but lots of sickly pear drops ruin it. Very poor I thought - was I drinking a different beer to everyone else here?

Cask, Kings Arms, Salford. Yellowy gold with a medium white head. Sweet, saccharine, raspberry aroma. Flavour a pretty ill conceived sickly affair. Give me a Boon Framboise instead any day of the week chief.
