500mL bottle, pours a cloudy, opaque muddy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, bready caramel, and a bit of vegetal notes. Flavour tastes better than it smells, with lots of syrupy caramel, bready malt, some toffee, and modest bitterness. Syrupy, caramely -- not too happy with the hops here. Subpar.

Bottle. Light fruitiness, a bit of sticky malts, on the palate it's got a light sugar note, but it's simple. Doesn't really bring much...the barrel ones were quite a bit better.

500 mL bottle poured. A somewhat cloudy golden orange appearance with active carb and plenty of foam head and lacing. Some bold and a but dank on the hop aroma. Some cracker grains and bold and bitter rind like hops to balance. Lingering hop bitter. Flavorful session pale. Refreshing taste up front, with a bold finish. Quite the unique showcase for Mosaic here, but I'm for it. Enjoyed this.

500 mL bottle poured at Special Brews. I honestly can't believe it took so long for me to get to this one. I knew it sounded amazing. I knew it would be. Dense glowing orange pour. A different kind of haze here. Pure juice appearance. Could be mango juice. We will see. Aroma brings out tropical fruits, and a pear like character. Hoppy invitation to this. This session packs more flavor and body then most of its heavier weight competitors. Juicy, dense brew full of resinous hops. Citrus and tropical fruit combo. Light, but borderline chewy. So much hop character going on, and the tropical punch lingers on. This is exactly what I wish my kegerator at home could be pouring at all times. I can see this IPA fitting all seasons and occasions. Exceptional and exquisite brew from these fine folks.

Slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a rich, two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of tropical fruits, light resin, a dash of honey and some subtle flowers - pretty nice and showing a tiny bit of alpha acids and bitterness. Medium-bodied; Strong tropically and stone fruit flavours show at first with a good dose of biscuity and herbal malts just a few seconds afterwards. Aftertaste shows some light bitternss with some more hits of fruits, especially the stone fruits here, with some light sugars as well, but more of a malty profile than that of the hops and especially any bitterness, which is very mild. Overall, a nice enough beer that shows more as an APA or an EPA, but the Idaho 7 is nice, but not bitter or pungent as I was expecting. I sampled this 50 cL bottle, purchased from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 27-March-2021 for US$5,99 sampled in my cabin here in Crater Lake, Oregon on 29-March-2021, just two days later with my family while visiting the National Park.

Bottle - served cool not cold - lightly hazy copper - nicely executed rendition - Medium to low carbonation - light dry mineral up front, followed by bready, earthy malt that leads up to a dry, moderately bitter finish with the faintest touches of wood and citrus - full-flavored session ale. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Bitter on 10 Jan 2015 at 14:54 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Cask at the brewery - nose of doughy malt, earthy british yeast, citric american hops - flavor is kind of sweet, minimal.yeast character, moderate mineral - finish is all american hoppiness - I was hoping for authenticity, but this is still decent, I suppose.
