Pale yellow, maybe a touch of haze. Definitely has some pedio on the nose, along with pear. Slight sweetness, but it's not all that complex. Still has that light pedio to it. It's drinkable.

473mL can, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma is pretty simple, with a bunch of hay and some dry apple skins. Flavour is fairly dry but quite nondescript, with faintly tart pears, a touch of hay, not much farmhouse funk or anything. Simple but pleasant enough.

750mL bottle at East Van Cider Fest 2026, pours a hazy dark reddish pink with a small white head. Nose is complex and refined, with a nice plum expression along with musty pear skins, crisp apple skins, and some farmhouse funk. Flavour is basically bone dry, with plenty of pear skins, moderate barnyard funk, musty apples, and light hay. Dry, funky, somewhat plum-like finish. Very good.

473mL can at East Van Cider Fest, pours a clear blonde, no head. Nose is full of big farmhouse notes, big hay, and some tannins. Flavour is super dry, with fresh hay, barnyard funk, and tannins. Dry, with tons of farmhouse depth. Excellent.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque golden yellow, almost no head despite it exploding from the bottle upon opening. Aroma has plenty of wet hay, horse blanket, and dry apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of hay, gentle horse blanket, and a touch of apple skins. Not the most sophisticated funk expressions of Twin Island, but it’s extremely well-crafted; finishes dry, hay-like, and very drinkable. Very good.

Dullish yellowy sort of colour, like slightly oxidized apple flesh. Light apple, some bit of tannin. On the palate, fairly dry, with apple skin and oxidation. Slight off-note, I guess that's from bottle refermentation or something?

Poured from 750mL bottle (2025 harvest). Cloudy blonde gold with quickly dissipating white head. Lightly perfumey, almost an apple pear like quality, decent.

750mL bottle. Pours blonde with lots of murky yeast. Loads of dry apple skins and must on the nose. Flavour has a very dry apple character, skins, straw, some musty yeast, mineralic finish. Nice dry cider, but not the most complex.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden, no head. Nose brings out barnyard funk, some hay, dry apple skins, and a touch of sugars. Flavour is semi-sweet upfront, with toffee, brown sugar, barnyard funk, and gentle hay. Good yeast complexity, nice funkiness, and some wild bugs. Very good.
