Tap at the mondiale 2014. Jet black pour, thick brown rocky head. Charred malt aroma, brown sugar, lots of mollasses, and quite a bit of sugary wood. Touches of vanilla, and strong espresso also are prominent. The mouth feel isnt as full bodied as i expected, and the carb was a tad low, but didnt detract. The finish was medium bitter, and has loads of sugary woody notes, the rhum seems to only be adding some sweetness, but it is bringing depth via the barrel. Woody vanilla and charred malts linger and are quite pleasant. Great beer.

Tap at the mondiale 2014. Hazy red pour, with a thick pink head. Very sour, tart aroma. Smells alot like vinegar, with some cherries. Finish is quite tart, bit pleasant, and the vinegar fades. Very drinkable, quite nice.

Tap at the modnaile 2014. Hazy golden pour, big white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, quite sweet with light citrus. Very high carb, very active moith feel. The finish is crisp, and dry. Light to medium bitterness, lots of sweet tropical fruit, and again, just hints of citrus zest. I cant find any traces of the cocoa at all.

Tap at the brewpub. Hazy copper pour, frothy, sticky white head. Aroma of pungent hops, resins and pine, not very much citrus. A decent amount of malts too, some nic ecereal notes. Quite a bit more bitter than i expected, but still quite nice.

Big on the fruity, citrusy hops. Juicy green leafy hops. The juiciness i find cut the bitterness and its not overpowering. Creamy mouthfeel and a soft carb. Touches of rye add a rounder finish, with some lovely pine, resin notes. Super session ale. But the 7% might differ.

Quite a sweet malty aroma. The malts have really been pushed on this one. The candi sugar also is very present. The hops have taken a back seat, and seem to only be contributing some bitterness. A little too viscous, not one lf my favorites.
