Opaque dark brown with a small short-lived head. Roasted, & toasted, chocolate, acids, slightly phenolic, dried fruits, some hop. Rather dry. Light sour. Low bitterness. Not a good barrel work in my vision.

Bottle at Cafe Samson, Nijmegen. Sweet with an aroma of banana, citrus, some wheaty malt and spicy yeast. Lacks the finesse of a good Weizen. Medium body.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is roasted malt with grapey brandy, dried dark fruit, oak, some dark chocolate. Lightly tart with a mild sweetness and some bitterness in the finish. A bit thin for the style and abv.

As Dargett Apple cider semi-sweet at 5.6% ABV. Appearance: Clear gold with a one finger tall off-white airy head of low to medium retention. Aroma and taste: Clean, fermented apples, some sigar, vinous noted. distant funk. Light to edium sweet, light sour. Mouth feel: Medium body, average to lively carbonation, Overall: OK.
