Bottle, 5.1%, many thanks anstei! Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is very nice gooseberries, mineraly, a touch yoghurt, very balanced. Taste is gooseberries, lacto, dough, mineraly, yoghurt funk and wood funk, a touch too acidic maybe. If you leave it on the tongue too long, some bandaid flavours arise. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Well done, but the aroma is better than the flavour.

0.33 bottle. Lightly cloudy straw. Great sour wild-yeast aroma with a tinge of sweetness. Great bitter-sour-balance, not too sour. Refreshing.

Hazy amber. Aroma is fizzy tablet, leather, citric acid, berries, wheat. Taste is not sour at all. some fresh and sweet, like apple but with more lime. A bit chalky. Good.

Taste is white grapes, yoghurt, white wine, light barrel, not sour, just fresh, extremely well balanced and drinkable. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Very good!

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy orange color with fizzy white head. Aroma is hibiscus, rosehip, bready, fresh yeast. Taste is hibiscus, rosehip, fresh yeast, sour dough, surprisingly banana. Mealy-ish doughy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too yeasty, but quite interesting.

Bottle, Torfmonster Reserve, many thanks anstei! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is peat, raspberries, fresh yeasty, very interesting flavour. Taste is chocolate, peat, raspberries, quite refreshing and drinkable. Oily, a touch watery mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite tasty!

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Very clear pale golden color with white head (turning into light haze when pouring the sediment). Aroma is earthy, a bit grainy, lacto, light grassy hops, a touch fizzycandy. Taste is refreshing, yoghurt, lime, grassy hops, mineraly. Fizzy carbonation, a bit watery mouthfeel. Quite refreshing, but also really light.

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Surprisingly clear pale golden color with white head, pouring all the settlement makes it medium hazy. Aroma is tropical fruit hops, grassy, lovely spelt and nice funk as well. Taste is super mineraly, grass, some tropical fruit as well, but now more towards the candy funk, dry earthy finish. Fizzy carbonation, very refreshing. Blackwell always said they would never brew a Pale Ale, and even when they do, they don't. The world needs more spelt and more funk in Pale Ales!
