Established in 2011
In 2018 the business moved to its current home located in a former City of Toronto 1930's art-deco incinerator, affectionately known as 'The Destructor". Decommissioned in the 80's, used for raves in the 90's and beautifully restored in 2018, the award winning heritage building is the perfect spot to enjoy a part of Toronto's past, hangout in our intimate yet spacious taproom, grab a brewery tour and of course sample great, fresh beer.
In 2019 JCB continued its expansion adding St. Mary Axe and socially responsible beer brand Caribru to its family of products.

Not sure what this is or what to make of it. Guy at brewery says it’s a mix of a few German styles. Dark maroon colour with some head and lacing. Finishes with crisp barley and a little saltiness. Soft carbonation. On tap at brewery.

Some sweet malt heavy on the barley profile. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Finishes bitter with light sweetness and a good dose of salt. Average carbonation. Pretty good for an English Pale Ale. Tap at brewery.

Very roasty. Sharp crisp barley aroma with some sharp hops aromas to boot. Pours orange with minimal head and lacing. A touch on the salty side for me - finish is very salty with light bitterness. Average carbonation.

Wild beer for a golden ale. Massive grapefruit presence with all the sourness and astringency of the actual fruit. Lots of bitterness. Maybe it’s the super galena hops which I’m not familiar with because I don’t remember galaxy being this strong on grapefruit. Pours golden blonde with good head and lacing. Smells awesome right from the get-go. Sharp grain taste as well. On tap at brewery.
