On tap at city beer pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice big melons stone fruit and plenty big sweet caramel malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet melons over ripe citrus rich malts.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated February 27, 2019. Aroma is fruity and hop forward with light background resin and dank notes. Light cracker malt and hints of alcohol spice. Passion fruit, guava, mango, pineapple and orange hoppy fruit notes. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes slowly but steadily to a thin film that lingers thicker on the edges. Moderately high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with a dry finish that allows the bitterness to linger. Light alcohol spice. Moderately strong citrus, resin and dank notes. Some lighter tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. Tastes a lot more bitter than I expect for a 35 IBU beer. Nice fruity notes in the aroma, but a bit less in the flavor.
