On tap at Optimism, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is very heavy, with lots of dark dried fruits, toasted caramel, and vanilla. Flavour is heavy, with notes of dry cocoa, leather, tobacco and caramel. Thick and rich, with a nice balance. Very nicely made.

On tap at Optimism, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of oak, light vanilla and a touch of dark fruits. Flavour is heavy, with notes of vanilla and oak, followed by dark dried fruit and toffee. Very silky and thick, with a lightly tart fruity finish. Nothing special but it's decent.

5/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5
On tap at Optimism, pours a clear golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of clove, Belgian yeast, candied sugar and alcohol. Flavour is very boozy and rough, with tons of phenols, booze, candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Way too boozy and harsh, without much complexity. Not brewed well.
