Pounder: Grapefruit, grass, and lime nose. Hazy amber, medium head. Grapefruit, guava. Full body, easy carbonation. Limited lime presence but a wonderful, quaffable DIPA.

16 oz. draft at The Farm, Dover. Flavor shows light peach, citrus, and pineapple. Mouth feel is slightly effervescent and shows some light juicy character. Very low bitterness. Respectable. I finished my pint easily.

Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a two centimetre tall tan head - frothy and long-lasting. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers, grain, candy and some mellow astringent hops that don't seem too bitter. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal flavour with a deep medicinal and astringent metallic note with a touch of grain and light sugars that show through the floral and bitter hop notes. Aftertaste shows some light white grape notes with a distinct sweetness, but much more pronounced bitterness from the grass, hay, grain and slightly resinous hops that are pervasive here. Overall, a decent enough IPA that shows much stronger bittering hops than I expected, but the light sweetness and grainy flavours balance outw ell - a good beer, and at this price point, slightly better. Definitely not worth trying to find to get the IPA, but very good, if you can grab it when it's so cheap! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Clarendon (Arlington), Virginia on 29-April-2019 for US$1,34 sampled at my house here in Washington on 28-May-2019, just less than a month later.
