Can pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe's, Bedford, NH. Appearance is deeply hazy orange yellow with fair sparkle at the edges of the glass, massive 5-finger width white foamy head with good retention (wish it had been less since it was a bit annoying to wait) and light soapy lacing. Aroma is mix of sweet and tart citrus (much like the session version), background cracker pilsner malts. Taste is slightly dominant cracker malt over more tart than sweet citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with dominant frothy texture, lively carbonation and weak finish with dry lingering bitterness. Overall, many drawbacks here. More malty than hoppy, head is massive, texture and carbonation are off. I'd prefer the session. Not good.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe's, Bedford. Appearance is lightly hazy pale yellow with greenish tinge (urine like) with attractive sparkle, finger-width foamy, off-white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is tart fruit, citrus, light herb, vague pilsner malt. Taste is as aroma with stronger malt than in aroma and late dank bitterness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, some decent complexity and strength for a session though a bit higher in bitterness and pilsner malt character than I'd prefer.

Ridiculously hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that coats the beer nicely, but the glow and haze are great - especially for a Light IPA. Aroma of grain, pine, resin, oranges and a touch of hay, all with a noticeable alcohol and malt presence showing some bitterness throughout - quite strong in the nose. Light-bodied; Pungent and biting bitterness from the strong grassy and herbal hops with a large orange and especially grapefruit flavours with a good kick from hay, grasses, light fruits and an especially noticeable resin and herbal character at the end which is nice and pungent all at once. Overall, a nice and very enjoyable, yet flavourful beer that shows a ton of bitterness and grain at first, but the hop characteristics, dryness, fruit and resin all come throughout without much malt or punch - this is all about hop flavours with a strong dry and bitterness, but not residual heaviness in the palate - done very well, perhaps one of the best Light IPAs I've had ever, or at least in a VERY long time! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 28-February-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 02-April-2019.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white conglomerate head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy spiders. Soapy lemon aromas. Crisp and dry with sweet caramel and resin upfront turning to sourdough and pine in the lasting finish.
