Description
In 1912, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company began serving old fashioned lager, ale and stout to our city’s early, thirsty residents. It’s hot and dry here and we all know how a good beer can cool you off after a hard day’s work. When the Temperance Movement picked up, this popular brewery - One of Medicine Hat’s first - was forced to close.
But you can’t keep a good thing down. Over a century later, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company name has been dusted off and again serves thirsty, hard-working Hatters Timeless Craft Beer.
We promise our beer is as delicious as ever. Stay in touch – we can’t wait to serve you.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of grainy wheat and orange. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat and orange in a crisp, tart, mild acidic, lacto finish. Light body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Pretty simple, but it's bright, refreshing and easy to crush after work.

355ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, long lasting, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, whiskey, fig, vanilla and oak. Clean, lightbodied, more lager-like, perhaps is. The alcohol is well hidden. Not roasty, creamy, in style, except the color is very light. Sk co-op

On tap at Medicine Hat Brewing, pours black with a tiny head. Nose is really oily, with soy sauce, a little cola, and some toasted malt. Flavour is quite oily, with light toasted malt, motor oil, and cola. Lacking body and integration. Not very proficient.
