Description
In 1912, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company began serving old fashioned lager, ale and stout to our city’s early, thirsty residents. It’s hot and dry here and we all know how a good beer can cool you off after a hard day’s work. When the Temperance Movement picked up, this popular brewery - One of Medicine Hat’s first - was forced to close.
But you can’t keep a good thing down. Over a century later, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company name has been dusted off and again serves thirsty, hard-working Hatters Timeless Craft Beer.
We promise our beer is as delicious as ever. Stay in touch – we can’t wait to serve you.

On tap at Medicine Hat Brewing, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, some earthiness, and a touch of hops. Flavour is dry and sturdy, with medium roast, some earthy notes and some hoppy bitterness felt in the background. Nothing exceptional but it's built well. Solid.

On tap at Medicine Hat Brewing, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out earthy malt, light roast and some lactose. Flavour is fairly dry for a milk stout, with a touch of lactose. Not much depth, but it's a pleasant stout.

On tap at Medicine Hat Brewing, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mega-dank, with lots of dank, herbal hops, some resins, and stone fruit pith. Flavour is extremely dank, sort in the middle of a west and east coast IPA, with huge pot-like hops, some herbal notes, stone fruit pith, and sweet caramel malt. Low hoppy bitterness on the residual end. Massive dankness on the finish. A little harsh and overboard, but it's decently well-made.

On tap at Medicine Hat Brewing, pours a cloudy yellow, no head. Nose is loaded with fresh pineapple, along with a touch of lacto. Flavour is sweet and sour, with lots of pineapple pure and a moderate lacto base. Not a complex beer. Just a fun, cheap, sweet and sour pineapple fruit beer.

Flavour is rather sweet, with loads of blueberry pure, aggressive vanilla and medium sweetness. It definitely has all the adjuncts. Fun stuff.

355ml can. Pours a hazy gold-orange (like orange juice) with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of orange, vanilla cream and faint grainy malt hiding in the background. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, orange juice, apricot, nectarine, vanilla cream and light grapefruit rind in a sweet finish. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and average carbonation. A great patio beer on a hot day. Easy to drink and a little gimmicky but yah, it's like drinking a creamsicle for the most part.
