Bottle, almost no head, over ripe apple aroma, flavor of apple and metal, quite sweet, especially for a supposed dry cider, feels artificial. Not good.

Bottle in Windhoek. It pours clear deep gold with a quickly dissipating fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, damp leaves, apple pie, appetiser, sherbet, earth and black tea. The taste is earthy, wood, black tea, tangy apple, sherbet, apple pie, tinned fruits, white sugar, hint of acidity with a dry, tangy apple finish. Medium body and average, fizzy carbonation. It definitely has more character than the dry version, but it is just to sweet and sugary for my tastes. Fair.

Bottle at 6% consumed in Windhoek. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky apple juice from concentrate, candy and white sugar. The taste is initially crisp, touch of fruity tartness, sweet apple, apple pie, apple tango and some white sugar. Finish is dryish. Medium body and average, fizzy carbonation. Not a huge amount to it, but it snot that bade really. Alcoholic apple juice.

Bottle from the Savanna (South African shop) at Liverpool Street Station. Pours pale gold with a large but short lasting white head. Aroma of light apple, also seemed a touch of honey. Medium sweetness, very light sour edge. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation after the initial fizz quickly dies down. Better than most mainstream ciders available in U.K. Finish is slightly dry and quite sweet.

Eher wässriger Antrunk nach roten Äpfeln. Sehr süffig, ausgewogen süß-säuerlich. Spritzig, wässrige Ähnlichkeiten zu Weißwein. Nett. 8/9/9/10/10/9

Clear yellow, fizzy head, sparkling. Nice apple aroma. Flavour is sweetish, has a little sourness. Slightly watery. Carb is lower than expected which is nice.
