Bottle, for the want of anything else to rate, at the Booking Office, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear pale gold with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of granny smiths apples, quite sharp. Taste is saccharine sweet, dry apples. Bit of a clash. Must be back-sweetened. Chalky finish.

19/2/2019. Bottle from The Savanna, Liverpool St Station. Pours effervescent, very pale gold, with a short lasting bubbly/foamy white head. Aroma is vaguely of apples, caramel, damp dog and plastic. Quite heavy sweetness, light tartness, also taste is oddly cheesy. Moderate body, oily texture, above average carbonation. Sweet finish. Really not good.

11/1/2019. Bottle from the Savanna, Liverpool St Station. Orange amber with minimal head. Aroma of sweet apples, apple juice and a hint of surgery berry yogurt. Quite heavy sweetness, minimal bitters. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet, syrupy finish. Have had worse. The ‘Ale’ element is well hidden...

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, no head and earthy herbal aroma. Taste is sweetish apple with infused resiny hop notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. OK.

Poured. A golden with no head. Aroma is offish because it’s dank and apples. Taste isn’t bad hoppy apples, dry finish.

330ml can from South African quarter, Saint Nicholas Market, Bristol. Pours a generally clear gold, small persistent white head. Aroma of commercially sweet cider. Taste is a little strange, perhaps more in common with shandy than cider, some sugary residue, apple traces. Bit odd.

Clear bottle served with a pint glass full of ice at The Doghouse Hamilton Bermuda. Clear golden yellow with a steady stream of carb bubbles. Light apple and faint brown sugary aroma and flavor with a hint of sulfur. Somewhat dry but a perception of residual sweetness. Decent hard cider.
