On tap at Counterbalance, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle notes of cocoa nibs and toasted malt, though it's all pretty restrained. Flavour is a little more robust, with notes of cocoa nibs, metallic notes and toasted bready malt. A little harsh with the metallic astringency. Okay, but needs a little refining.

On tap at Counterbalance, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry hopping and somewhat metallic biscuity malt to back. Flavour is along the same lines, with a clean enough character of biscuity malt, herbal dry hops and a slight metallic tinge. Reasonably well-balanced and brewed correctly to style. Okay.

On tap at Counterbalance, pours a deep dark rusted red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a reasonable cross between resinous hops and caramel malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel malt, resinous hops and a touch of fruitiness. Pretty solid miscellaneous semi-strong ale. Good stuff.

On tap at Counterbalance, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out leafy piney hops and biscuity malt to back. Flavour is similar, with leafy piney hops and just enough biscuity malt to back. Standard IPA but it's balanced and constructed well. Good.

On tap at Counterbalance, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of biscuity malt, straw, and cereal notes. Flavour is much the same, with cereal malts and straw. Clean but very uninspiring, as you'd expect for a blond. Meh.

Draft 12 Oz pour at 9 yards. Clear copper orange pour with a thin film head. Mild hop and orange fruit aroma. Dominant hop forward flavor, orange fruit, and a medium bitter finish. This was guest tapped at a place where the beer is on my shirt list. I may be jaded, but I found this very tasty.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of pine, a touch of diacetyl and bready malt. Flavour is similar, with piney and resinous hops, some diacetyl and bready malt. Some problems here. Not a huge issue but it's not well-balanced.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted barley and a little coffee. Flavour is pretty heavy, with lots of roasted malt and coffee. Tons of oats and roast. Full-bodied and well-balanced, though not overly complex or elegant. Good.
