Description

Draft sample @ Barcelona Beer Festival ’25.

Bottle from prospect beer works. Ommegang anniversary glass. 7% 2017 batch. Opaque, straw-colored, faintly fizzy brew. Smell is soapy, grassy, apricots, with a blue cheese, yeasty sharpness. Overall, on the milder side of Sidra. Taste is tangy, with a softly sweet cider vinegar middle. Dry & faintly salty as it finishes. Sour plum? The texture is pasty & thin. Simple. Reliable. To style. Less harsh then other sidras. Less complexity is sometimes a good thing.
