Description
Founded in 2012, Cloud 9 Brewery is a nanopub concept featuring locally sourced and organic components in both the brewery and restaurant.
With an emphasis on creative brewing, Cloud 9 is situated in a unique place in the market. Instead of having the exact same line-up from month to month, the beers on-tap at Cloud 9 change as soon as the last drop from the previous batch has been poured. With so many taps, and only 6 year-round beers, the variety is truly amazing.
Cloud 9 also features a unique feedback process by which we judge what beer-drinkers actually think. We collate and analyze the input and use that to shape the direction of the next batch. In this way the community is involved in the brewing process from concept to the final foamy pint.
A commitment to quality, service and genuine interest in our community make Cloud 9 Brewery the place for beer aficionados, foodies, and everyone who enjoys fresh and unique culinary creations.

Draft at the brewpub. Normal looking pour, almost black body with small, but thick, silky beige head. Muted aroma, not much coming through the head. Taste features the normal roast grain flavors, not picking up too much sweetness ad alluded to in the other reviews. Kind if dry actually.

On tap at the NanoPub hazy deep autum orange. Small light tan head but lingering sticky patches of persistent lacing. Granted it’s pretty cold but very subtle pumpkin aromas come through. Light moderate body, and the high ABV is evident. Softens and smooths out a bit as it warms. A little more residual sugars i think would help this beer. Body and taste wise.

On tap slightly hazy dull deep golden orange. Very brief light tan head. Too coarse to sustain any lacing. A light toasted malt flavor. Some color and a little hop balance. A small beer with a little flavor and character.

On tap at Cloud 9, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out light toasted malt and almost no hint of the tea. Flavour follows accordingly, with restrained earthy tea and toasted malt. Very weak and watery. Needs some oomph.
