Draught at the brewery, nitro, 6.6% ABV
Black color with nitro head. The nitro limits a lot the aroma and flavor, but it seems to be a nice Stout, soft, with a good chocolate presence, fairly dry; the nitro also gives a light metallic aftertaste.
Nice beer, but stop nitro!

Draught at the brewery, nitro
Hazy amber color, with nitro head. The nitro kills all; the aroma is almost not existing, the mouthfeel is smooth, there is some caramel flavor, fairly bitter, but I think that the nitro also gives a metallic aftertaste.
Stop nitro!

Brown color with small head. Nice roasted malts and chocolate, both aroma and flavor; good body strength, moderate sweetness. Fairly bitter.
Very nice. A lot of character here, and the chocolate is very evident.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy amber color with compact head. Even if they promise a malt forward beer, you must know that North Sound is just about the hops; the caramel is hinted, the mouthfeel is round enough, the hopping has a strong resiny accent, although there is some fruitiness and some fruity esters.
Nice.

Hazy amber color with small head. Light caramel character, dry mouthfeel, some fruity esters, and like all beers at North Sound, it’s fairly bitter. Clean, pleasant, atypical ESB.

Golden clor, with creamy head. Strong hoppy aroma, with some resins, fruits and sweat. Dry mouthfeel, lean; it’s a hop juice, the flavor is dominated by the hops, with an extreme resiny accent, citrus peel, and some animal character too.
This is what you get, if you like hops; no grace, just an hopfix; you are warned.

Dry, light and crisp beer, with a light character of bread, and very light (pleasant) acidity that may be due to the fruit, otherwise not really cherry character.
Should be pleasant on the patio, in the sun.

Cask at the brewery
Cloudy light amber color; the head is just a few bubbles. The aroma is mild, with hops, light apple, light yeast. The mouthfeel is dry, but quite soft, thanks to the cask conditioning; also in this beer the hop dominates, it’s very resiny and quite fruity; the apple juice is barely detected, but it adds a bit of sweetness, and also contributes to a better balance.
Very good.

Hazy golden color, with creamy head. The aroma is hoppy, fruity. The mouthfeel is lean, quite dry; some toffee malt flavor; but the malt is completely hidden by an extreme hopping, very resiny, a bit fruity; the final is maybe just a bit too bitter.
Pleasant, aggressive, not graceful.
