Amber color, it seems hazy. Simple aroma, some malt, vulgar. Lean body, some poor malt flavor, nothing of the maltiness or caramel found in Düsseldorf, let alone the character; correct bitterness.
One more beer that has Altbier only in the name; you are drinking a common Vienna. Clean and flawless, but mostly boring.

Blond color. Mild aroma of cereals. The mouthfeel is lean, but somehow chewy, and the flavor has some wet hay, some cereals, a bit skunky in the final.
Not a hit. Misses the point.

Hazy bright light amber color. More than a Bitter, expect a Golden Ale, with delicate, mild malt profile, a bit bready, and balanced bitterness.
Simple but clean and pleasant.

On tap at BRB, pours a near-black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, with notes of oats, chocolate and a lactose quality. Flavour is dryer, with oats and bitter dry cocoa dominating. Drinks like a dry Irish stout - not much body, nor robustness. It's okay.

On tap at BRB, pours a hazy orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out sweet bready malt, some straw and a little herbal quality. Flavour is along the same lines, with a sweet bready malt quality dominating. Clean and drinkable, though very boring - it's a marzen after all.

On tap at BRB, pours a hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is subtle, with toasted nuts and English bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with the English malt showcasing. Light body and clean. Nothing overly exciting but it's clean and drinkable. Decent.

On tap at BRB, pours a deep dark brownish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out cocoa and English malt upfront. Flavour is quite robust for a brown, with dry cocoa powder upfront and English malt on the back end. Bready, dry, cocoa-y finish. Solid stuff.

On tap at BRB, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bitter dry resinous hops and bready malts on the back end. Flavour is strange, with bizarre herbal hops, some light vegetal notes and just enough crisp crackery malt. Herbal and astringent on the finish. Needs work.

On tap at Big River, pours a hazy reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of red berries, yeasty notes, and caramel malt. Flavour is strange, with astringent hops, brett funk, and a thick chewy malt backbone to balance. Harsh, yeasty, and not very cohesive. Decent attempt, but needs lots of work.

On tap at BRB, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet bready malt notes upfront and light perfumey floral hops. Flavour is similar, with lots of floral notes upfront, transitioning to a sweet bready malt base. Still dry enough on the finish. Nothing special but drinkable.
