On tap at Off the Rail, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Nose brings out notes of bready malt, some toffee and a little caramel. Flavour is very malty, with lots of caramel, toffee and bready malt. Nice sweetness imparted here without cloying at all. Quite full-bodied for a brown with a good balance. Very good.

Draft - Light hoppy sweetness. Clear gold with a white head. Light grains and earthy hops. A bit of pith and nice hop notes. Decent.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal, with unfortunate diacetyl problems. Flavour is rather similar, with herbal notes, boiled cabbage, and diacetyl. Once again, Off the Rail dishes out a diacetyl bomb. Not good.

Cloudy amber color with compact head. Delicate aroma: some malt, some citrusy hop, and a light impression of butter. The mouthfeel is fairly dry; in the front it has a mild but nice bready malt flavor, but it’s a bit lost in the final; moderate bitterness, with mild resiny and citrusy hints, and traces of diacetyl. It tends to be a bit more boring than expected in the final.
Pleasant, besides the minor flaw.

Hazy light Amber color with compact head. The aroma shows some resiny hops. Having tasted this one side to side with the Harvest Pale Ale, at least there is some malt flavor, light residual sweetness; it’s quite smooth in the front; strong bitterness, but like the other Harvest the hop qualities are lost here as well; the bitterness takes some chicory taste in the end, a bit unpleasant. Overall it’s also a bit earthy and metallic.
Weak offer, in 2015, but not in Vancouver evidently.

Light amber color, clean. Aroma and flavor are almost absent, there is enough bitterness, light hop resins, and no fresh hop quality; just slightly metallic in the end; it’s clean and it has no flaws; remarkably close to water.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very fresh, with loads of leafy hops and doughy biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh leafy hops that dominate. Rather astringent and bone dry on the finish. Solid.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out diacetyl, stale bready malt and some resin. Flavour isn't as off-putting, with bready malt and gentle leafy hops. As with many OTR hoppy beers, this has problems. Not a disaster, but it's flawed.
