Hazy amber. The aroma has orangey, grapefruity hop character. Moderate bitterness, light citrusy hop, and the malts are a bit too thin. This one has some potential, but IPA is a bigger style and more assertive. This should be the house pale, IMO.

Dark amber and cloudy. Thin, bubbly head. Light aroma. Vaguely caramelly and has a slight chewy note. A touch of hop dryness, too. A lot going on, but not necessarily cohesive.

With fuggles and goldings, and low bitterness, this beer fits that old "English" pale ale Bass ripoffy thing. I don’t think I’ve seen a micro try this in a decade, and with good reason. It’s boring. Hazy, thin head. Light caramel character, a bit thin, and no attractive character, hop or malt.

Light golden-amber. Thin head. The aroma is a bit toasty, plasticy...corn, too? Light caramel taste with a touch of biscuit. Goes in the cream ale direction, but doesn’t really nail it. Unadventurous.

Cloudy amber. Huh? Never saw a cloudy amber mild before. Gotta fix that. Thin head. Not much aroma. Light malty character with light fruitiness. Touch of acidity in the finish. More like a bog standard bitter. Another beer with a low ceiling.

Amber, with a thick nitro head. Not much nose, as expected. Light, vaguely fruity, touch of caramel. Comes through like a tarted up Kilkenny, which I imagine was the idea. Not the most inspired choice for a young brewery.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours an opaque dark amber orange with a small beige head. Nose is very restrained, with some light fruitiness and a touch of biscuity malt. Flavour is quite a bit different, with notes of butterscotch upfront, with a touch of fruitiness and a little English malt profile. Doesn't strike me as a mild - the butterscotch notes seem unintended. Not too good.

Draft - Nitro - Light citrus and pale malts. Clearish copper with a rich beige head. Light and a bit estery with a light malt finish.

Draft - Light sweet smoke and dark malts. Deep maroon with a decent light brown head. Smoke and burnt toast with a bit of fruit. Not bad.

Draft - Dark roast, oatmeal, chocolate and a nice sweetness. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Roast, dark chocolate and a very light finish and body. Session stout, really nice.
