Cloudy dark blond color with compact head. The malt is crisp, with a toffee character, the mouthfeel is quite dry, and compared to other experimental IPAs from Off The Rail this one captures better the soul of the hop mix; resiny and orangey.

Draught at the brewery, as East Bound Brown Ale (Nov 26th)
Brown color, small head. Very cold; a bit of roasted malts; I have the impression it has less chocolate than the East Town Brown, and it’s more watery; ordinary bitterness.

Dark brown color, the head is short lived. Dry and almost thin, very strong flavor of heavily roasted malts, a bit burnt in the final. I’m still not entirely sure what a Brown Ale is supposed to deliver, but what I get here is not much. Very light glue in the aroma. Hazy light amber color. Timid hop aroma. Soft mouthfeel, mild malt flavor with a very light biscuity accent, light residual sweetness, medium bitterness, just a bit resiny, with a tiny amount of fruitiness.
Shy, buttery, not a real showcase for the hops. But not too bad.
Another weak offer from Off the Rail.

Cloudy golden color with creamy head. Nothing notable in the aroma, light malts in the flavor, ordinary bitterness with no hop quality. Unfortunately not only the head is creamy, as the aroma and flavor are too: another diacetyl bomb by Off The Rail.
