On tap at Trail's End Taproom. Pours dark brown, with a medium, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is sharp peaches, lemon, vanilla, and caramel. Very tart, which I wasn't expecting. Light body, with a sharp, acidic mouthfeel. This is an unusual, dark sour beer. Tasty, just not what I expected for the style.

Draft at Black Squirrel. Hazy golden yellow color white head. Floral fruity aroma. Taste is fruity straw and hay, soft sourness. Seems dry hopped. Works.

Some moss, some florals, a little bit of resit like an old hash pipe. Pours light golden with good head and lacing. Some bitterness in finish. Good stuff. Tap at Savor.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a hazy color with a small white head. Aroma was nice saison notes, light peppery character, light floral and a touch of dusty notes are at play here. Light hop notes, light sweetness in the finish. Tasty.

Lots of Lemon and some grapefruit. Hazy amber pour with ok head and lacing. Tangy sour finish. More like bronze quality than silver.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a light copper/bronze color with a slim little white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Subtle sliding lace.
The aroma had some lemon sour pulp, some grassy hops, light must/vinous and a little bit of floral hop qualities.
The flavor was mildly sour with a tart edge of the lemon. Seemed more of a citrusy sort of taste. Sour sort of tart aftertaste. Quick sour to tart lemon finish.
The palate was almost medium bodied, seemed it sat just a tad under with a decent carbonation about it. ABV felt fine.
Overall, I believe it does the trick for what Aspen wanted to do. I’d have again.

Sampled at CBC, pours a clear blonde with some frothy, white head. Nose has malt, lemon, grass, paper, yeast. Flavor is grass, lemon, paper, straw. Finishes dry. Good for the style.

The appearance was a semi-dark amber to brown sort of color with a thin eggshell white foamy head. Moderate lace.
The aroma had some biscuit to slightly earthy brown malt. Touch of cocoa.
The flavor leans to the sweet side and adding in some clean breadiness. Nice smooth sweet bready aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat between a light and medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt right where the brewer projected.
Overall, really nice brown ale leaning towards the English side of the wheelhouse and well worthy of having again preferably in mid Spring or mid Autumn.
