Coffee (Arabica) and some touch of grass in the aroma. The same coffee notes with bitterness from roasted malt in taste (that is quite plain). Quite good.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark color, almost black, with small head. Roasted malt aroma, coffee. Dry mouthfeel, dirty, swamp water, old coffee dregs; not exactly very pleasant.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out notes of coffee upfront, with a touch of roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of coffee upfront, a touch of roast, and some bready malt. Quite dry, with a reasonably roasty coffee quality. Solid stuff.

Very vague head and okay barley body poured into a stout glass at 5.6 celcius. Soft barley and swampwater aroma leaning toward nothing. Flavour is burnt barley and watery coffee; something for sure but nothing exciting. Rather boring all around.

Bottle from Denman Liquor Store, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color, almost no head. The aroma has some biscuits, spices, and vegetables (celery). Dry mouthfeel, a bit too heavy on the spices, covering the biscuity malt; too strong bitterness too.
Messy.

Bottle - Sweet pumpkin spice and starch. Clear copper with a small white head. Sweet spice and a nice spicy finish. Although all spice, it is actually balanced and OK.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy pumpkin orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of cinnamon, pumpkin, ginger, and a little maple syrup. Flavour is fairly sweet, with maple syrup, cinnamon and pumpkin pie. Actually quite nice, with a sweet, maple-y and somewhat spicy finish. Actually pretty solid -- better than expected.

Draught at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015
Cloudy blond color. Sweetish mouthfeel, with light banana esters; low bitterness.
It’s balanced, not bad.

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of biscuity malt and light citrus hops. Flavour brings out citrus hops and biscuity malt. Decent balance, with ample astringency. Nothing interesting, but decently brewed. Okay.

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is light with wheat and not much else. Flavour is clean, with light banana and some wheat. Pretty standard wheat, but with more banana. Decent.
