Tall can on train to Ottawa with R. Dark copper brown pour with puffy white head. Aroma is spice, earth, dusty hop. Taste is bitter earthiness with sweet breadiness. Not as light palate as I expected - pleasant surprise. Not bad for a train beer!

Fruité aux allures d’agrumes, orange et citron léger font foi d’un olfactif plutôt houblonné. Liquide doré tout à fait flou se couvrant d’une mousse rocailleuse et tenace. En bouche, c’est fruité et terreux avec une finale quelque peu astringente. Des notes d’agrumes, orange et citron à nouveau avec une légère impression de solvant. Le genévrier est bien senti. L’aspect terreux s’amenuise au bout de quelques gorgées mais reste que le solvant persiste. Pas très convaincante. Ça me laisse sur mon appétit. Attention aux notes de solvant. Deep golden colour with some tiny, unfiltered transparent particles. The head is frothy, bubbly, with average retention and soapy lacing. Mild spicy Pilsner malt nose with hints of grassy hops, fruity sweetness. The taste shows again some light spiciness, fruity malts with the grassiness being a tad stronger. Not really that much more. OK.
