On Tap at the brewery.
Nice golden/amber pour with a good beige head. Really nice, bready, cereal, slightly roasty aroma. Some light grassy hops, but not too much. Quite authentic to the style so far. The middle has a nice low, soft carb, with a good mouth feel. The finish is again, quite bready, and grainy, with some subtle grassy hops. This was quite nice, i bought a growler.

On tap at C’est What. Sweet, malty, cereal aroma. Light hops, almost none really, just fusel, sweet malts. I honestly thought this was an imperial pils. The carb is low, and the mouth feel was a tad thick. The finish is again quite sweet, bready, with some fusel booze flavors. not great.

Dark, black pour, with an ample beige, rocky head. Great roasty aroma, some good notes of coffee, and some solid piney hops. The mouth feel is bang on, and the carb is perfect. The hops some through more in the end, but the roast just mingles great with the hops. A super nice roasty, hoppy finish. a great example of the style.

Great malt, like a hand full of grains right under your nose. The bitterness is vident but not upfront with hops, just lingers on the palate. A touch boozy, but still refreshing. Medium to high bitter finish, nice.

On tap. Jet black pour, big beige head. Big roasted malt aroma, but also some soft satisfying milk chocolate aromas, with touches of coffee, and soy.
Very soft carb due to the nitro tap, and a solid mouthfeel. Light to medium bitterness with a solid roasted malt finish with accents of bitter cocoa, and coffee. I’m impressed with this porter.

Hazy golden pour, small white head. Nice biscuity, cracker aroma with noble, grassy hops. solid carb, and mouthfeel. Light bitterness, lovely lemony, hoppy finsih with more solid cereal, grainy finish. Really quite nice, and super refreshing, i bought a growler i liked it so much, best beer i had there.

A tad light for a dunkel, but too dark to be a hefe. Loads of banana, colve and yeasty esters. Very lively carb, slightly heavy mouthfeel. Solid banana clove finish, and flavour with some bubblegum in the finish, but quite sweet also.

A big upfront aroma of bananas, candi sugar, and dark lverly ripe fruits, like plums, and apples. The malts are quite bready and sweet, some loght grains but they are few and far between, the carb was low, and the mouthfeel was viscous, and almost cloying. The finish is again quite sweet, with more banaas and some loght cocoa. The server suggested the inspiration was chocolate chip banana bread for this beer. I can see it, but its way too damn sweet, and cloying.

Quite malty, big malt bill off the bat. Lots of grains with some subtle light hopping. Light pine notes with a dominant maltiness. Average carb, and mouthfeel. Light hoppy finish, the c-hop in there really isnt doing much and the Hellertau is take over and adding a touch of pine. Reminds of a typical Ontario IPA from the mid 90’s. Disapointing.
