Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy orange yellow with a one finger white head that laces well. Nose is wheat, bananas, bubblegum and quite a bit of pepper and cloves. Light sweet start with a bit more bitterness than a typical Weizen but not overly so and a well balanced spiciness that is more subtle than the nose. Medium light mouth with active carbonation and a crisp finish. I like the additional hop character to this one.

Bottle from the brewery. Hazy amber with a large fluffy off white head that hangs around and leaves a bit of lace. Nose of light caramel and a lot of citrus including lemon mango and pineapple as well as hints of pear and honey. Light sweet start with a tart citrus middle and a lingering bitter finish. Medium mouth with average carbonation. Oddly different. Drinkable but not as good as the ’beta’.

Bottle from the brewery. Deep mahogany pour with a smell dark khaki head that quickly fades. Huge cocoa and espresso nose with hints of vanilla and roasted nuts. Lightly sweet toffee start and a medium light bitter coffee and chocolate middle extending to a quite dry finish. Flavour is much more subdued than the nose. Medium slick mouth with active carbonation.

Draft - Orange and peach with some caramel. Copper and cloudy with a good white head. Sweet candied orange, bubblegum and stone fruit with some grassy notes. A bit of spice in the finish. Pretty sweet, but OK.

Draft - Roast malts and some coffee bean. Jet black with a beige head. Burnt toast and a light bitterness. Lighter than the smell lets on.

Bottle from the brewery. Deep hazy amber with a small white head. Nose is medium toffee and grain with yeast and a moderate spiciness. Light sweet roasted malt start with some apple and pear and an unusual level of bitterness for a saison and a background of cloves and pepper throughout. Medium slick mouth with a chewy finish and active carbonation. A little heavy and a little boozy.

Bottle from the brewery. Very cloudy deep gold pour with orange highlights. Very small white head (even after an regressive pour) that is quickly gone. Very strongly sweet toffee and honey nose with apple and vanilla and a hint of pepper. Medium sweet toffee start that is not as overpowering as the nose would indicate. A medium light lemon bitterness shows up in the middle to balance and a light spice is in the background throughout. Medium creamy mouth with soft carbonation. Not my favourite style, but this one is interesting.
