Pretty bad, even for by golden ale standards. Starts with a burst of corn sweetness and…that’s it. The sweetness fades and there’s nothing else, just a bland, fizzy fade. There’s nothing here.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Greenville, SC. Pours a cloudy orange-gold color with a very small off white head and poor retention. Zero lacing. Light grapefruit aroma. Tastes like a light citrus juice drink. The very low carbonation also makes it feel like a fruit drink too. The citrus flavor tastes very natural, but there's not a lot of beer flavor. Very clean and smooth and refreshing though.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Greenville, SC. Pours a cloudy dark gold color with an off white head and good retention. Minimal lacing. Faint bready aroma. More bread in the flavor with some citrus and pale malts mixed in. Lightly crisp mouthfeel. Light body. Low carbonation. A very easy drinking, clean, mellow golden ale.

6.9% ABV, according to the can. Classic old-school West Coast IPA, full of caramel, orange, grapefruit, and pine, with a chewy malt sweetness offset by a massively bitter, resinous hop bite. Some bread and wet malt undertones pop up behind the hops on the finish, but the fade is pure West Coast hop vitriol. Vicious, but good.

Amber color with thin head. Sweet malt with a medium crisp hop bitterness. Milder than a pale ale.
