Bottle, 11.3%. Very dark brown, beige froth. Roasted, hoppy aroma, roasted malt and light coconut. Smooth mouthfeel with light bitter bite and alc warmth. Choc and coffee flavour, light licorice notes. Slightly sharp boozyness. Good.

[ As Åben The First Strike of Sunlight ].Murky matt medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, citrus, fruity hops. Keg at Skaal, CPH, 09/05/18. Hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is caramel, sweet malts, orange marmalade, toasted grains, melon. Taste comprises mandarin, light breads, bitter orange, hint of pine, caramel malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Ok IPA with an old skool lilt.
